Acrylic Saturday with Steve Duprey
Saturday, October 3, 12:30 to 3:30 pm
In his Saturday acrylic painting workshops throughout the year, Steve Duprey will lead his students, step-by-step over the course of three hours, through the process of creating a variety of landscape and still life paintings. Each student will receive close personal attention as they create the painting. Particular attention will be shown to creating the sense of light in each painting.
For ages 16 and up. Limited to 10 participants.

Making Flowers from Leaves with Laila Woody
Saturday, October 10, 12:30 to 3:30 pm
During the workshop, for the first 30 minutes, the participants and myself will be walking around town gathering fallen leaves to make flowers with. When we return, for the rest of the time, we will coat the leaves with Modge Podge. Once dried, I'll have participants hot glue their leaves in layers, creating a beautiful flower.
For ages 10 and up. (10 to 14 must be accompanied by an adult.) Limited to 14 participants.

Screen Printing with Camille Santangelo
Saturday, October 17, 12:30 to 3:30 pm
This workshop is a hands-on 3 hour class where you learn to design, prepare, and print images onto surfaces like fabric or paper using a screen and other items provided. Only basic drawing and cutting skills are required to master this very simple technique. The Dove has screens, a single color printing press, and various colors of ink to help you achieve your envisioned designs.
For ages 8 and up. Limited to 15 participants.

Felted Ornaments with Lisa Defrancesco
Saturday, October 24, 12:30 to 3:30 pm
Lisa will lead the class in a needle felted ornament project. Students will create holiday ornaments using a dryer ball as our blank canvas. No prior felting experience needed.
Lisa DeFrancesco has been felting since she was a young adult. She is inspired by nature and by other beautiful things around her as she has lived in both corners of the New York State and in Hawaii. She loves to teach and has taught classes at the Dove Block Project, the Pulteney Free Library and the Rochester Folk Art Guild
For ages 8 and up. (8 to 14 must be accompanied by an adult.) Limited to 10 participants.

Watercolor with Bernadette Bos
Saturday, November 14, 12:30 to 3:30 pm
Learn to paint with watercolors. All materials will be provided, but participants can also bring their own small watercolor kits.

Jewelry Making with Andrea McKinney
Saturday, November 28, 12:30 to 3:30 pm
Andrea McKinney is a Jewelry designer who created a Jewelry studio and Gallery in her seaside cottage in Marblehead Mass. She exhibited and sold her designs throughout the North Shore of Boston and the Cape. Her Jewelry designs were frequently spotted on the necks of news anchors at WCVB Boston.
Andrea will leading the workshop in simple jewelry design and implementation of techniques she's gained from years of excelling in her art form. Participants must have be able to follow instructions closely and adhere to all safety guidelines set in place.
All workshop items will be provided.

Paper Coiling with Sarah Pendry
Saturday, December 12, 12:30 to 3:30 pm
Tailored for both adults and teens, this workshop will introduce participants to the art of coiling, guiding them through the process of creating beautiful and intricate designs using simple materials. The workshop will be designed to accommodate beginners, while also offering more advanced techniques for those who may already have some experience withpaper crafting.
For ages 13 and up. Limited to 15 participants.
